Established in 1948, Nihon Itomic Co.,Ltd. is the sole manufacturer in Japan who specializes in making electric water heaters (EWH) for business use. Employs approx 200 including subsidiaries and partners throughout Japan and China. Our Strength is over 50 years of accumulated technical know-how to meet needs for the ever demanding customers. We commit to customer satisfaction with the expertise of technology and after-care service. EWH is used in many places like nursery homes, office buildings, hospitals, schools,etc. We make up the dominant share of 70% of the market. In 2002, Itomic, together with Tokyo Electric Power Company, developed Eco-cute, the highly efficient heat pump water heater which uses CO2 refrigerant to create thermal energy. Itomic Eco-cute is the first of its kind in the world. Since the start of marketing Eco-cute, nearly 1300 units have been sold.
